As International Women’s Day approaches on the 8th of March,
#choosetochallege is the theme for 2021.
I am interviewed by the lovely Janine Kennedy from Irish Country magazine. We discuss the work I do in tackling the taboo around menopause.
I choose to challenge the stereotypes and old story around this time in women’s lives, a story that has limited, disempowered, and disenfranchised too many midlife women for decades. I believe it’s time to bring menopause into the 21st century, remove the silence and stigma and tell the truth about this life transition.
Its time to tell a NEW STORY. Opening conversations, sharing stories changes lives and will enable us explode the outdated taboo.
